Why churches trust us

You shouldn’t have to worry about who your people land with.

Your people need a support network. They need church leaders and trained, trustworthy helpers who are prayerfully working toward the same goals — true healing and freedom. OneLife Group exists so you can refer with confidence: clinically excellent care, rooted in a Christian anthropology, that shares your vision for what wholeness looks like.

Licensed & credentialed

Every OneLife practitioner is a licensed, experienced clinician, and we hold to the American Association of Christian Counselors Code of Ethics. Professional excellence and Christian conviction, together.

Aligned with your theology

Our care is rooted in a Christian anthropology and worldview. You shouldn’t have to worry about therapy undermining your theology. We won’t work against the pulpit — we leverage your good work and support your ministry, so healing for your people happens in-step with your church.

Affirm our Statement of Faith

Our practitioners joyfully affirm the historic Christian faith — the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds. You can read exactly what we believe before you ever refer a single person.

Confidential & ethical

Care is confidential and ethical. When a congregant is also walking with you, we invite them to sign a release so their pastor and practitioner can prayerfully collaborate as one support network.

A complement to your ministry

We’re not here to replace pastoral care — we come alongside it. OneLife frees you to focus on what only you can do, while your people get the trained support they need to heal.

Experienced in every season

Our practitioners bring years of experience as therapists, ministry leaders, missionaries, disciple-makers, and healing-prayer ministers — a passion for the restoration of the image of God. Your people are in steady, capable hands.

What we offer

Three ways we walk with your people.

OneLife is a virtual practice offering counseling, coaching, and spiritual direction — for individuals and groups. Not sure which someone needs? We’ll help you find the right fit.

Counseling

Licensed clinical care for the hard seasons — pre-marriage and marriage, grief, addiction, and trauma, plus anxiety and depression, for individuals, couples, and families. OneLife Counseling accepts most insurances.

Coaching

Goal- and growth-oriented support to help your people move forward — life, productivity, health and wellness, marriage, and parenting. Coaching walks toward what’s next rather than treating a diagnosis.

How referral works

A simple path from your office to real help.

Referring someone takes moments — a card, a QR code, or a quick form — and you stay part of their healing, not shut out of it.

1

Refer someone

Connect with us, and we’ll send you a private link to share with the person you have in mind.

2

We match & welcome them

We welcome them, listen, and match them with a trustworthy, aligned practitioner for counseling, coaching, or spiritual direction.

3

Care begins

Care begins — virtually and on their schedule. OneLife Counseling accepts most insurances, and we’ll help with affordability where it’s needed.

4

You stay informed

With the client’s signed release, you and their practitioner can prayerfully collaborate as one support network — so you’re never left in the dark.

How to refer someone — the privacy-first way

To protect each person’s privacy, churches don’t send someone’s information to us directly. Instead, you connect with us first, and we send you a private link to pass along to the person you have in mind. They complete their own confidential sign-up — so their personal and health information stays in their hands, shared only with their consent. It’s a simple, HIPAA-minded way to care well for the people you love.

This connects you with us to receive a private referral link.

For churches

Walk alongside your church.

We’re in this together. OneLife comes alongside your ministry as a trusted referral home for your people — sharing your worldview, leveraging your good work, and freeing you to do what only you can do.

  • Holistic support for your ministry — counseling, coaching, and spiritual direction, so you can focus on what only you can do.
  • Prayerful collaboration — with a client-led release, pastor and practitioner work together as one support network.
  • Trustworthy, clinically excellent care that shares your biblical worldview and your vision for wholeness.
  • Care your people can afford — we’ll help your church set up a simple benevolence process so cost is never the barrier.

Questions churches ask

The things pastors want to know first.

Are your practitioners actually Christians?+
Yes. Every OneLife practitioner joyfully affirms the historic Christian faith — the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds — and holds to the AACC Code of Ethics. Faith isn’t a label here; it shapes the care.
Will you contradict what our church teaches?+
No. Our care is rooted in a Christian anthropology and worldview, and we come alongside your ministry rather than working against it. You can read our full Statement of Faith before you refer anyone.
How do you approach topics like sexuality and identity?+
We hold to a historic Christian understanding of the person — made in God’s image, male and female — and we believe true freedom and wholeness are found in Christ (Romans 6–8). In practice, we meet each person where they are, with compassion and without judgment, working in step with your church’s care.
What will we hear back about someone we refer?+
With the client’s signed release, you and their practitioner can prayerfully collaborate as one support network. Without a release, care stays confidential. Either way, you’re never left guessing.
What happens in a crisis or emergency?+
For thoughts of suicide, self-harm, or harm to others, we involve licensed professionals and appropriate emergency care immediately. Our practitioners are experienced, licensed clinicians who follow clear professional and ethical protocols.
Do you take insurance, and what does it cost?+
OneLife Counseling accepts most insurances. Coaching and spiritual direction aren’t typically reimbursable, so we encourage churches to set aside a small benevolence fund and we’ll help create a simple, streamlined process so cost is never a barrier.
Which states are your providers licensed in?+
OneLife is New England–based and serves churches across the region. Licensure is state-by-state — tell us where your congregant is and we’ll match them appropriately.
How do I know when it’s time to refer someone out?+
Watch for persistent struggles; signs of depression, anxiety, or trauma; a marriage under strain; or a lack of growth. A good rule of thumb: if the same issues persist after about four sessions, it’s time to bring in specialized help — and we can collaborate with you through a signed release.
